THE FIRST EDITION OF PROGRAM LIBERATION OF THE SENSIBLE
The novel residency within the (Liberation of the Sensible) program is considered an invitation tocontemplation, thinking, and planning, and a restoration of the dynamism of novel writing as aresearch and experimental act, and an accompaniment to the implementation of the work and thecreation of dream and beauty through a local aesthetic outside of representations. And that byadopting non-standard methodologies, starting from solo residencies, workshops, and collectiveproduction, reaching writing, sound experiments, and comprehensive accompanying publicationswhich are continuously present in the tawsnalab laboratory residency, these atmospheres whichencourage conducting continuous critical dialogues, and building developed contemporary forms ofnarratives with spatial perspectives in order to create writing projects related to the spatial andsocial scenario of the city geographically. It is made available for the resident writer to practicewriting as a daily act, not interrupted by the noise of commitments nor distracted by the acceleratingrhythm of daily life. This residency grants him an opportunity to rediscover the voice of the storywithin him, and to delve into the depths of the characters he created, and grants them features moreliberated from the authority of globalized novelistic construction forms. And freeing the worlds ofthe novel from writerly centrality through the worlds of the peripheries, and removing the importedviolence in novel writing in particular and narrative in general.
